Yipee! Now I’m broke…

So we got power back Wednesday. After driving four hours to go to my parents and get a generator. Which I brought home and promptly proceeded to blow up a surge protector with. Did you know that surge protectors smoke and catch on fire? I do now. But we got power back! Yay! And I got a phone call on Wednesday from the Superintendent telling us that school was canceled for the rest of the week. Yippee! And then we got another phone call at 10pm last night (Thursday) stating that school was back on for Friday. Boo. And the broke part? Yeah, no power = no cooking = no refrigeration = eating out a lot = Kari gaining three pounds in five days and = Kari broke. Boo again.

So…I’m copying a meme from Each. Enjoy!
